If you have old floors you can lay Impervia Flooring directly on top as long as the sub base floor is perfectly flat and sound. If you have draughty old floor boards they screw a 5mm to 10mm ply on to them and after that the Impervia Flooring can be fitted directly on top.

Although the antibacterial finish means it is better than any of the other floors on the market it does not mean it is anti virus. However, because of its durability and waterproof properties it can be cleaned with disinfectants using a squeeze mop as often as you like. Use dettol if necessary or other antiseptic wipes to remove bacteria and keep your floor as hygienic as possible.
